Abstract
This article aims to identify the professional profile of controlling prompted by Brazilian companies. The survey sample consists of 467 announcements, published in five sites covering more than 80% of the market for recruiting professionals controllership: Michael Page, Catho, Manager, Case Consulting and Hays Brazil. The results show that the labor market seeking graduates, especially in accounting, who have knowledge of information technology and international accounting. Outcome for the requested profile is a professional who participates in the management systematically, with leadership, proactive and analytical skills.
