Abstract
This paper analyzes the dynamics in terms of the creation of technology-based firms in different Andalusian universities , identifying their shortcomings, strengths , and a profile of the EBTs and their entrepreneurship . From this , the authors propose , on the one hand , a broad definition of these technology companies , incorporating its territorial dimension and its structuring within innovation systems , and , secondly, the establishment of a conceptual framework which collects the set of characteristics and requirements which , in our view , constitute the most important factors to promote the creation of technology-based firms in a territory. Finally, it sets out a proposed improvement measures aimed at boosting regarding the creation of these firms and their consolidation , so that they can contribute to increasing the competitiveness of the territories.
